The acclaimed Mark McCumber private community in the quaint coastal town of St. Marys, Georgia has been honored with
the "America's 100 Best Master Planned Communites" designation by Where to Retire magazine. With hundreds of communities in
the running from around the country, Osprey Cove made the final cut and became one of three LandMar communities represented in
the publication. Seeking out the nation's top neighborhoods, the staff at Where to Retire compared trends in new home construction, amenities, lifestyle services and a plethora of other assets when deciding which communities would make the final list. As always,
onsite activities and the stage of the development also played a hand in the final selection.
Showcased in the article were Leonard and Gail Perrone, who had seen references to Osprey Cove in golf magazines and stopped
to see the development while visiting friends. After purchasing a new homesite and interviewing four custom builders, Gail summed
up her love of the temperate climate since moving from Pennsylvania. "We've lived here almost a year now," she says, noting that a
never-ending supply of "beautiful blue skies and big puffy clouds" never fails to impress her.
